The lessee acknowledges the rented item is in good repair and in proper working condition, and agrees to return the rented item in the same condition as it was received or:
a) the lessee shall pay the cost of cleaning and/or repairs necessary to maintain the rented item as good a state as it was when received from the lessor (excepting normal wear).
b) in case of loss of possession or destruction of rented item or inability to return same to the lessor, the lessee agrees to pay The Party Bazaar the full replacement value of the rented item.

Rental period commences on the date the item is shipped to the lessee and terminates on the date the equipment is received back by the lessor. Minimum rental period is one day (24 hrs) and the lessee will be responsible for daily late charges if rented items are not returned within the agreed rental time.

The lessee agrees that all charges, including transportation, for the rental will be paid in advance and a credit card imprint will be left with the lessor for security.

Addendum for casino rentals Provincial and local laws may apply to the use of these items. The legality of their use is the responsibility of the renter/lessee.

Costume Rental Procedures
In order to rent a costume clients are asked to present a valid picture ID and provide The Party Bazaar - Bazaar & Novelty B.C. with the following information: name, address, postal code, two phone numbers where the renter can be reached at. For security reasons and eventual damage charges an imprint from the client’s credit card will be taken.
Costumes cannot be held unless payment has been received.
Due to possible sizing conflicts, costume rental orders through the phone or email are not taken.
One day rental consist of check-out time at 2 PM and return next day by 12:00 (noon).
Due to high demand, all seasonal (Easter, Halloween, Christmas) costume rentals must be prepaid.

Equipment Rental Policy
Daily rate is for a pick-up after 2:00 PM with the return next day before 12:00. Weekly rate is for a seven day period. "Pay for four days and get the remaining three days free!” Weekend prices (Friday - Monday) are not applicable when The Party Bazaar is open on Sunday.
On all rentals, for security reasons we require a signed credit card imprint or a signed credit card authorization form.
Rental prices are based on city of Vancouver rentals.
Any other pick-up times, or rentals outside of Vancouver must be approved by a manager.
Freight charges are additional.
The price of dunk tank rental includes freight.

Cancellation Policy 

Cancellation of rental requires 72 hrs notice for a full refund. For 48 hrs cancellation notice 50% of rental value charge applies; less than 24 hrs notice or no show - no refund will be given.
